The waterfront park is a local favorite that you won't want to miss out out on. The park is right where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic Ocean. The lighthouses are a great piece of area of history and a great place to visit. Then, of course, there is Franklin Square Park. They show art from so many different artists.
